Technology:
The ultrasonics by Satelec®

Today, the use of piezoelectric instruments in dentistry is becoming more widespread and their effectiveness is demonstrated by numerous clinical studies.

Regular and constant movement is the guarantee of extreme precision

The piezo effect of Satelec® piezoelectric handpieces can be described as either indirect or direct. The so-called piezoelectric bodies - ceramic rings - are deformed (by expansion or contraction) when polarized through application of an electric field.

Handpieces

Tip   Electric current generates a deformation of the piezo ceramic rings. The amplifier and tip, coupled together, increase the vibrational movements emitted by the piezo ceramic rings. The tip thus vibrates along a longitudinal axis.

Cruise Control System
Cruise Control System™ for:

- Automated real-time frequency adjustment in the 28kHz-36kHz range, according
to the tip's acoustic response to obtain maximal cutting efficiency:
Auto-tuning system.
- Perfect and continuous control of vibration amplitude: Push-Pull System.
- Continual adaptation of power required, depending on the resistance encountered by the tip: Feed-Back principle.
